WHAT IS KINETICOOL®?

KinetiCool® is an advanced cooling materials platform developed to improve how textiles manage heat and moisture in real-world conditions.

Unlike traditional cooling approaches that rely on topical finishes, chemical treatments, or phase-change materials, KinetiCool® integrates high-conductivity cooling particles directly into the polymer matrix of the fiber. Combined with engineered microporous and grooved fiber geometry, this structure enables rapid heat transfer away from the skin while accelerating sweat transport and evaporation. 

Because KinetiCool® performance is intrinsic to the yarn itself, cooling functionality does not wash out, degrade, or diminish over time.

HOW IT WORKS

KinetiCool® cools through a dual-mechanism system, resulting in cooling that becomes more effective under real-world conditions - heat, sweat, and motion.

Thermal Response

High thermal effusivity enables rapid heat transfer away from the skin. Engineered fiber surfaces reflect and disperse infrared energy, reducing heat absorption and preventing localized hot spots.

Moisture-Driven Cooling
